Founded in Mumbai in 1991 by first-generation technocrat Nandkumar R. Kushe, Pratishna Group has grown from a small engineering enterprise into one of India's respected machine-building companies, known for innovation, precision engineering, import substitution and customer-focused product development.
After graduating as an engineer in 1985 and gaining experience in machine tools, hydraulics, manufacturing and engineering design, Mr. Kushe established Pratishna Engineers in 1991. Starting with machine rebuilding, indigenisation and technology adaptation, the company gradually expanded into complete machine design, manufacturing, automation and product development.
Today, our engineering solutions serve industries ranging from plastics processing and defence to renewable energy, nuclear power, oil & gas, infrastructure and advanced manufacturing. At Pratishna, we don't simply manufacture machines — we solve engineering problems.
